The Merchants Inn Golf Society (MIGS) met on Tuesday afternoon 3rd July 2012 to play it's 3rd tournament at Lutterworth Golf Club.
The weather was not at it's best for the time of year but never the less a good time was had by all and we raised an outstanding £300 for the
MATT HAMPSON FOUNDATION. Many thanks to all that took part, and to our sponsors that donated many fabulous prizes. They were Continental Contitech, The Matt Hampson Foundation and Casa loco.
The over all winner was Scott Whyment with a Stableford score of 39,
the winning team was Mick & Richard Tarrant, Trevor Gardener and Roy Peberdy
The longest drive was won by Giles and the nearest the pin by Wayne. A spot prize of an umberella went to Tom for his weather forecasting skills!
All in all its was a very enjoyable day at Lutterworth Golf Club and we are going to hold another tournament late September early October so watch for details. Once again many thanks to all that took part. Check out the gallery for photos!
